ELGILOY SPECIALTY METALS DIVISION - Elgiloy Specialty Metals, a division of Combined Metals of Chicago, L.L.C., (ESM), a division of Combined Metals of Chicago, L.L.C. with facilities in Elgin, Hampshire, and Sycamore, IL, processes and markets over 45 high-performance nickel-cobalt, titanium and stainless alloys to customers in the Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Medical and Energy markets. ESM operates a world class four-post 20-roll cluster mill capable of producing the world's thinnest and widest stainless steel precision strip. The mill is supported with two bright annealing furnaces capable of producing annealing thicknesses as low as .002" (.005cm) and as wide as 40" (1.02 m), and multiple slitting units that can process a variety of coil widths and weights as large as 1,000 lbs. (.45 metric tons).
